The law firm of Melby & Anderson LLP originated in Glendale in 1927 when two young graduates of the University of Southern California Law School opened offices in Glendale for the general practice of law. In 1948, Henry Melby joined the firm; and in 1964 he was joined by Jarrett S. Anderson, continuing the roots of Melby & Anderson LLP to the present day, a period of over 80 years. The present partners of the firm are Randall Melby, Patrick A. Liddell, and Michael W. Deaktor, with a combined legal experience of over 86 years.  Jarrett S. Anderson serves as Counsel to the firm.
